CNC Programmer – Production, Technology, and Quality

As a CNC Programmer, you are responsible for creating, optimizing, and implementing NC programs for milling machines. You work closely with the production team to ensure that the programs provide efficient machining, high quality, and meet customer specifications. The role combines technical problem-solving, precision, and collaboration in an environment featuring both prototypes and series production.

Example of Tasks – Programming & Machine Preparation

• Write and optimize CNC programs in MasterCam for milling and/or turning.

• Set up and simulate programs in CAM/CAD systems to ensure runnability and efficiency.

• Participate in machine startup and test runs to verify program functionality.

• Create and update manufacturing documentation, tool lists, and operation times.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and technical support to solve manufacturing issues.

• Participate in improvement work to reduce cycle times, increase tool life, and improve processes.

Technical Environment and Tools

You will work with modern CAM/CAD tools and advanced CNC control systems. Experience with tools such as Heidenhain, Mastercam, or similar is advantageous. We offer access to updated machinery and software so that you can develop efficient and stable programs.

Your Profile – Competence and Skills

• Technical interest and the ability to think in process-oriented terms.

• Experience with CNC programming or CAM preparation is advantageous.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances.

• Systematic, precise, and problem-solving oriented.

• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

• Education in mechanics, production, or equivalent experience is advantageous.
