Chef de Cuisine for Hasse på sjökanten

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring chef who wants to be part of our team.

We run the restaurant Hasse på sjökanten in Jönköping. We serve approximately 100–200 guests daily, focusing on high-quality traditional Swedish home cooking. All meals are prepared from scratch. We also offer breakfast, coffee breaks, catering, conference meals, and à la carte dining.

About the role

As a chef with us, you have ultimate responsibility for the kitchen's operations during evening hours and for menu development.

Our restaurant has a clear profile focusing on traditional Swedish cuisine and local ingredients.

You will have the opportunity to work creatively with menus, create high-quality dining experiences, and contribute to our vision of sustainable and nature-inspired gastronomy.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for the restaurant's evening operations.
• Lead and inspire the kitchen team to maintain high standards and job satisfaction.
• Create creative menus focusing on seasonal ingredients, where sustainability and taste experiences go hand in hand.
• Responsible for ingredient management, kitchen economics, and quality assurance at all levels.
• Ensure close collaboration with the dining room team to offer guests a unified and unforgettable experience.

Qualifications

• Well-structured work approach and experience in handling budgets and purchasing.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a kitchen or restaurant.
• A positive and motivating leadership style with a focus on team spirit and personal development.
• Creativity and passion for taking Hasse på sjökanten forward on our journey.
