RESPONSIBILITIES

In the Youth Jobs Autumn 2026 initiative, you will work daytime hours, Monday to Friday, within one of the following departments:

• Culture & Leisure: As a caretaker responsible for maintaining facilities and outdoor areas.
• The Leisure Bank: Lending sports and outdoor equipment.
• Employment Unit: In reception and food preparation kitchens.
• Vidåsen Elderly Care Home: In care work involving duties within healthcare and social care.
• Hyllinge School: In the food preparation kitchen.

As an additional resource within the operations, you will work under supervised guidance available during shifts. The employment period is fixed-term, from 2026-09-01 to 2026-12-18.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are registered as a resident in Åstorp Municipality and who, regardless of birth year, have completed your upper secondary education during 2025 or will complete it during the spring of 2026.

To work in any of the municipal operations, you need to have a genuine interest in people, be empathetic, and communicative. You thrive working together with others in a team but can also work independently. As a person, you are flexible and can switch tasks and help out with various duties during the workday.

No prior experience is required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 11 days – 3 months.
Working hours: Daytime.
