You step into a role where qualified tree inventories and inspections become an important basis for decisions regarding protected tree environments. The work combines field operations with technical assessment and clear documentation, in an environment where your observations need to maintain high quality and function in dialogue with authorities.

You work according to the Standard for Tree Inventory in Urban Environments Version 3.0 and use both your arborist competence and methodological ability to assess the condition of trees. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to work close to real nature and safety issues while contributing specialist knowledge that has direct significance.

• You conduct tree inventories and inspections according to the Standard for Tree Inventory in Urban Environments Version 3.0.
• You assess the structural condition of trees and use Picus Sonic Tomograph as support in your analyses.
• You inspect avenues, giant trees, hollow trees, and other protected habitat environments.
• You produce written protocols in PDF format with images, graphs, text, and relevant measurements.
• You create decision support materials that can be used in dialogue with the County Administrative Board (Länsstyrelsen).
• You plan and drive your work independently, with a daily routine that combines field work and documentation.

• You are a certified arborist with ISA certification or equivalent certification.
• You have TRAQ certification.
• You have a certified course in Road Safety, basic course, for work in connection with roadside areas.
• You have experience assessing the structural condition of trees using Picus Sonic Tomograph.
• You have at least 3 assignments in the last 3 years involving the inventory of avenues, giant trees, and other protected habitat environments according to the County Administrative Board.
• You can produce clear documentation in the form of protocols with images, graphs, and text.
• You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
