About the company

SweHatch AB is a company that produces and delivers day-old chickens in Sweden. It belongs to the Scandi Standard group, which includes brands such as Kronfågel in Sweden and Danpo in Denmark. The group operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Ireland.

SweHatch consists of both animal production, where they produce hatching eggs, and two hatcheries where chicks are hatched.

Your responsibilities

SweHatch AB produces and delivers day-old chickens to Kronfågel and is part of the Scandi Standard group. In this role, you will work within our hatchery production, where your main tasks are:

• Handling eggs, hatching, and chicks, as well as their transportation
• Performing and ensuring that we maintain good quality through the cleaning of our machines and equipment
• Documenting and reporting any deviations and improvements regarding, for example, animal health, working environment, and machinery to help us improve our operations

Your background/Personal qualities

You are a driven and responsible person who confidently takes initiative. You are motivated by working independently and can adapt your pace of work as needed.

It is crucial that you are meticulous, communicative, and strive to understand the entire production process to ensure high safety standards. The work is carried out in warm and humid premises, so it is important that you can handle working in such an environment.

We place great emphasis on maintaining safe and good animal husbandry. It is a requirement that our animals are handled well, and that you do not own or handle poultry or reptiles due to infection risks.

To be able to perform your daily tasks under safe conditions, you must have good command of Swedish in both speech and writing.

Since public transport does not fit with the working hours, a driver's license and access to a car are required.

Start immediately, initially during the summer with a chance of extension.

Working hours are during the day, 5 out of 7 days a week, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

The employment begins as a fixed-term position with Wikan Personal, with the possibility of transitioning to employment with SweHatch.
