As a forklift driver with additional responsibilities in a cold store, you play a central role in warehouse logistics and in ensuring an efficient and safe flow of goods in a temperature-controlled environment. You work in a team but also have individual responsibility for the safe operation of forklifts, warehouse management, and adherence to procedures in the cold store in southern Stockholm.

About the role:

The work involves driving various types of forklifts in the cold store, receiving and picking orders, stowing goods, and contributing to maintaining high quality and safety standards. The role includes extra responsibility for certain tasks such as monitoring temperature and hygiene procedures, daily inspection of forklifts, and reporting deviations. You work according to established procedures and use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and scanner/handheld computer.

Responsibilities:

• Drive counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and/or other relevant forklift equipment in the cold store
• Receive and inspect incoming goods
• Picking, packing, and stowing according to orders
• Daily inspection and basic maintenance of forklifts
• Ensure compliance with temperature, hygiene, and safety procedures
• Report deviations and participate in improvement work
• Use WMS, scanner, and other warehouse-related IT equipment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a valid forklift license (A1-4, B1-6)
• Has experience working in a cold store or similar environment – an advantage
• Takes responsibility, is detail-oriented, and structured
• Thrives in physical work and can handle cold temperatures at work
• Has good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is computer literate and has experience with WMS – an advantage

• Employment type: Staffing via Simplex
• Location: Jordbro
• Working hours: 06:30-15:45
• Salary according to collective agreement
• Start: Immediately or by agreement
