Do you want to work in a creative environment where art, logistics, and structure meet? We are looking for an engaged warehouse manager who wants to be an important part of the operations at Moderna Museet. Here, you will have the opportunity to work behind the scenes at one of Sweden's leading museums for modern and contemporary art and contribute to the experience of our visitors.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As a warehouse manager, you are responsible for ensuring that daily warehouse operations function efficiently and in an organized manner. You work with the receipt, handling, and organization of products and other internal flows related to the store's operations. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that the inventory value is correct and that the physical warehouse is in order. Heavy lifting is part of the job.
The responsibilities include:
- Warehousing and logistics regarding inbound and outbound deliveries
- Receiving, unpacking, and labeling goods
- Managing inventory, including preparatory work and coordination of the process
- Developing and maintaining routines and methods for warehouse management
- Maintaining the business system with tasks related to the warehouse
- Working as a salesperson in the store (approx. 15% of working hours)
The work schedule is Monday to Sunday, with evening and weekend shifts included.
The store is part of Moderna Museet's Communications Department. The store's operations include the stores at the museums in Stockholm and Malmö, as well as the webshop. You will be part of a team of approximately ten people and report to the Store Manager.

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and have the ability to plan and organize work efficiently. You are flexible and can quickly adapt to changing needs in the business. We also look for someone who is self-motivated and takes responsibility for their tasks by working proactively and solution-oriented. The role also requires good numerical and analytical skills, as you will work with inventory, documentation, and the handling of logistical flows.
To be successful in the role, you also need:
- post-secondary education in a field relevant to the role, preferably in warehousing or logistics
- current experience working in warehousing and/or logistics
- experience with retail business systems, preferably Winpos
- experience with inventory management with coordinating responsibilities
- current experience in service, preferably in tourism, customer service, or a similar field
- good knowledge of M365, especially Excel (or equivalent systems)
- knowledge of modern and contemporary art
It is an advantage if you have:
- cash register experience
Location
Moderna Museet is located on Skeppsholmen in central Stockholm.
Employment Type and Start Date
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probationary period. We would like you to start on September 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. You will be employed as an Administrator.
