Kitchen Assistant for Large-Scale Catering – On behalf of our client

We are currently looking for a meticulous and hardworking kitchen assistant for a large-scale catering facility. If you are accustomed to working in a fast-paced and structured environment, have an eye for detail, and enjoy supporting the kitchen team, this could be the role for you.

About the role:

As a kitchen assistant in a large-scale catering environment, you will be a vital part of the kitchen team. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing ingredients and simple cooking tasks
• Assisting with food service
• Dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen and serving areas
• Maintenance of kitchen equipment and machinery
• Assisting with food waste management and consumables
• Ensuring hygiene and safety protocols are followed

The work is performed according to a fixed schedule, and working hours may vary depending on the nature of the assignment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience from large-scale catering, institutional kitchens, or similar (advantageous but not mandatory)
• Is meticulous, flexible, and has a strong work ethic
• Can work efficiently at a high pace
• Is used to working in a team and taking initiative
• Has good knowledge of hygiene routines and occupational health and safety regulations
