Do you want to work in a unique and high-tech environment where precision and safety are crucial? Here, you have the chance to be part of a close-knit team that produces long rails for various projects across Sweden. Together, we ensure that the Swedish Transport Administration can deliver technically approved material, ensuring trains always have a safe track to run on.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs an operator with us, you will, among other things, work with
- grinding, welding, and operating cranes, where you participate in the entire long rail production process
- aligning and finishing long rails, ensuring that all weld joints are perfect and that the rail is ready for transport
- handling rail and switch stock inventory, responsible for unloading, loading, and handling rails and switch components
- repair work and performing minor repairs as needed
In addition to the above, those with safety service duties will also operate locomotives and perform shunting on sidings. Therefore, the work requires a high level of safety awareness and careful adherence to all rules and directives. It may be necessary to work in two shifts during parts of the year.
We are a close-knit team that produces long rails for various projects in Sweden. As we are the only facility in Sweden performing this, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best and develop your skills in a unique environment. We also deliver shorter rails and switch components daily.

QualificationsWho are you?
You are a problem-solving oriented person with the ability to handle and solve complex challenges, both technical and organizational. You have good analytical skills and can identify and solve problems in a structured way.
This role involves a lot of interaction with other people. Therefore, we look for someone with a strong ability to collaborate and who thrives in a role where you work closely with colleagues and other internal functions. You are motivated by active employee engagement, taking responsibility for your tasks in a goal-oriented manner. Key skills for success in this role are attention to detail and safety awareness. It is therefore of great importance that you have a strong desire to follow rules and directives and that you enjoy working in a high-tech environment where precision is the key to success.
We are looking for someone who
- has a high school education with a technical focus, or alternatively, has another education combined with recent experience that we assess as equivalent
- has approximately one year of experience in comparable work
- holds a B-driver's license for manual transmission
- can express yourself well verbally and in writing in Swedish
It is also desirable if you have
- side-loader training
- wheel loader training
- crane operation training
