Do you want to build tomorrow's forestry machines from the ground up? At our client's facility, you will assemble, test, and fine-tune top-class machinery in a family-friendly workshop environment where ideas are welcomed and development opportunities are abundant.

About the Role

As a Workshop Technician, you will troubleshoot and function-test forestry machines. You will ensure quality and document your work while being a key player in our production. In this role, you will act as a team leader, responsible for planning and daily management within a small team, reporting to various parts of the organization.

• Participate in final assembly and quality assurance of machines before delivery to the customer.
• Assist Malwa's development department with testing, prototype construction, and evaluation of warranty claims.
• Act as backup for technical support.
• Ensure order and cleanliness in the workshop through efficient and safe working methods.

About You

We are looking for you who have a vehicle or workshop technical education, preferably with a focus on heavy vehicles or mechanical engineering. You have documented experience in repair, troubleshooting, and hydraulics, as well as good knowledge of final inspection. You are accustomed to working according to 5S principles, have a strong safety mindset, and thrive in teams where quality, precise documentation, and on-time delivery are second nature.

• A positive attitude and a high degree of service orientation.
• A desire and mindset to always want to improve (customer satisfaction, delivery quality, product quality, warranty costs, team, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of reading drawings and hydraulic schematics.
• Good command of English. Ability to read, understand, and convey technical information in English.

Merits

If you have previously worked as a team leader in production and driven improvement work within LEAN, we see this as a clear plus. Extra points if you have experience with troubleshooting, test driving, and quality work in small batch production.

• Some years of experience working in a service or spare parts organization.
• Good understanding of the different technical subsystems of a forestry machine.
• Some form of team leadership experience.
• Mechanic/repairer within heavy vehicles and forestry machines.
