At EuroMaint in Olskroken, we are now looking for a Train Technician for the maintenance of X2 trains – a role where technology, problem-solving, and teamwork are at the center.

About the role

As a Train Technician with us, you will become an important part of the daily maintenance of the X2 trains. You will work in our modern depot in Olskroken and be responsible for ensuring the trains maintain the highest standards regarding safety, functionality, and accessibility. The role is varied and combines practical work with technical thinking, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.

You will work with both planned maintenance and fault correction, often in close collaboration with engaged colleagues. Together, you ensure that the trains can quickly and safely return to service.

Your main responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on X2 trains
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Car out checks, replacements, and adjustments according to maintenance plans
• Document performed work in our maintenance systems
• Ensure that work is carried out according to current safety and quality requirements
• Participate in improvement work to increase operational safety and efficiency

You will become part of a competent team within vehicle maintenance where safety, quality, and collaboration are crucial.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine technical interest and thrive with practical work in a technically advanced environment. You are meticulous, responsible, and have safety as a natural part of your working approach.

We see that you have:

• A high school education in industry, electricity, or vehicle technology
• At least 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably from a workshop or technical environment
• Experience with practical work, troubleshooting, and following instructions
• Responsibility, flexibility, and good teamwork skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Advantageous qualifications:

• Experience working with railway vehicles
• Electrical background and ability to read electrical diagrams
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems
