Registered Psychologist with CBT Focus at Lugnvik Health Centre
Do you want to become part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to look forward to and grow in? Here, you contribute to development and growth throughout the county, working to offer the best possible service, care, and support for everyone who lives in or visits the region.
We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and engagement, where both breadth and specialized expertise are valued. Here, you have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience.
Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, together with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Health Services, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Primary care is organized into 4 close care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care." Each close care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice service, youth clinic, and the close care ward Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Our well-functioning operations are located just outside central Östersund and are characterized by well-being, engagement, and a strong focus on a good work environment. Here, you will meet close and professional collaboration between all professional categories. The health centre is staffed by both specialists and trainee doctors, district nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries. There is also a rehab coordinator, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, and a psychosocial clinic consisting of several psychologists, psychotherapists, and counselors. We are approximately 40 employees and two unit managers who together are responsible for just over 7,600 registered patients.
1 position(s).
Responsibilities
In this role, you have a central function in assessing and treating adult patients with various forms of mental ill-health. You are responsible for making qualified assessments and guiding patients to the right interventions and treatment.
You will work within the psychosocial clinic where you meet adult patients with varied problems such as stress, anxiety disorders, life crises, depression, and pain-related complaints. The work involves assessment and psychological treatment with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focus. The treatment work is varied and takes place through individual contacts, group therapy, and internet-based CBT. The assignment also includes continuous method development work where you have an active role. Supervision is a natural part of the work.
The position also involves collaborating with other societal actors and providing further guidance, for example, when rehabilitation is needed. You will become part of our multimodal team focused on supporting patients back to working life. The work also includes supervision duties and regular meetings with psychologist colleagues from other health centres in the Östersund close care area as well as the region.
For those interested, there is also an opportunity to be offered specialist training.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a registered psychologist with a CBT focus and who want to make a difference for our patients every day. Experience from healthcare or primary care is meritorious, but we value above all your engagement and genuine interest in people.
You are secure in your professional role, take responsibility, and contribute with a professional and warm approach. With good collaboration skills, initiative, and a desire to develop both yourself and the operations, you will become an important part of our team.
Collaboration is at the center of our work – together we create efficient care flows, high quality, and a positive work environment. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
