About the role

You will become a key player in the development team where technology, innovation, and customer adaptation meet every day. The work here is not just about developing products, but about driving projects forward, creating structure in complexity, and getting people to work towards the same goal.

You will work closely with designers, development engineers, and application engineers on projects spanning from new materials and processes to advanced solutions within automotive and medtech. The role involves a natural team lead responsibility where you help prioritize, coordinate, and create structure in the development work, while also acting as a crucial link between the team and the Head of Development.

In this role, you will:

• Drive and coordinate development projects
• Participate in prioritizing between development initiatives and customer needs
• Work closely with technology, production, and customers
• Create structure in projects and processes
• Contribute technical expertise while fostering collaboration and forward momentum within the team

We are looking for someone who..

… has worked for a few years as a development engineer and enjoys the intersection of technology, projects, and people in daily life. You have previously driven product development from idea to finished solution and feel confident in keeping projects, people, and various stakeholders connected along the way. You are accustomed to working broadly within the development process, from requirement setting, testing, and material selection to coordination, problem-solving, and implementation, rather than just being responsible for a single part of the chain.

You are used to creating structure and driving work forward, but also understand the importance of flexibility when priorities change or new needs arise. We believe you are a person who likes collaboration, naturally takes responsibility, and appreciates working in an environment where everyone helps each other find the best solutions.

• Approximately 3–5 years of experience as a development engineer
• Experience in driving or coordinating technical projects from start to finish
• Background in, for example, automotive, medtech, aviation, rail, or other regulated industries
• Accustomed to working in a structured manner but remaining flexible when projects and priorities change
• Curiosity and willingness to continue developing together with the team and the business
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Meritorious experience with electronics development, hardware, and software
