Do you want a social, active, and important job? We are looking for you who want to work as a waste collector, who will enjoy driving a garbage truck and have a Category C driving license and a valid YKB (professional driver qualification).

Nordisk Återvinning Service AB is responsible for waste collection in southwestern Gothenburg, with the City of Gothenburg as the client and partner. As a driver for us, your main tasks are the collection of household waste, recyclable materials, and the transport of waste. You should enjoy physical outdoor work as the job is mostly outside the vehicle.

We work Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 15:00 and have weekends off. In some cases, such as during demanding driving conditions as well as on holidays and red-letter days, some overtime and evening work are included. The position is full-time and begins with a probationary period.

Responsibilities:

• Collection and transport of waste
• Responsibility for your own vehicle with daily and weekly follow-up, as well as cleaning and maintenance
• Incident reporting
• Participate in meetings related to operations
• Follow the company's HSE and quality routines
• Handling of the vehicle computer

We are looking for someone who has:

• Category C driving license and valid YKB
• We prefer that you are newly trained as a driver
• Fluent Swedish – spoken and written
• Basic experience with digital aids
