We are looking for a Traveling Fitter/Welding Fitter on behalf of our client!

We are currently seeking a fitter/welding fitter for a well-established industrial company with international operations and high technical competence. Here, you will have an important role where you work with both manufacturing and assembly in production, as well as installations and assembly at customer sites.

About the role:

As a fitter/welding fitter, you will work with both welding and mechanical assembly in the company's production, as well as installation and assembly at customer sites. The role involves a combination of workshop work and traveling assignments, meaning no two weeks are alike.

You will primarily work with MIG and TIG welding, as well as assembly according to drawings and instructions. During traveling assignments, you will work together with colleagues at the customer's site with installation, assembly, and adaptation of equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • MIG and TIG welding
  • Mechanical assembly and final assembly
  • Reading drawings and quality control
  • Installation and assembly at customer sites
  • Troubleshooting and practical problem-solving
  • Collaboration with colleagues in production and projects

The position is day-shift based, and travel is a natural part of the job.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has vocational training in workshop technology or equivalent experience
  • Has experience in welding and industrial assembly
  • Is accustomed to reading and working from technical drawings
  • Thrives in practical and physical work
  • Has a solution-oriented and self-driven approach to work
  • Is flexible and enjoys variety in work
  • Has good collaboration skills and a positive attitude
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
  • Holds a valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits:

  • Experience with traveling assembly or installation
  • Forklift or crane operator certificate
  • Knowledge of English

This is a temporary-to-permanent position with a good opportunity for direct employment with the client company after the initial period.
