We are currently recruiting an experienced Workshop Mechanic for their team.

Job Responsibilities

As a Workshop Mechanic at Bengt Bergs Maskinservice, you will have a varied and development-oriented daily routine based in our workshop in Partille. Here, you will primarily work with the service, repair, and completion of construction machinery in a secure workshop environment, while also having the opportunity to broaden your role over time.

During your initial period with us, you will mainly work in the workshop. Over time, you will gradually be introduced to service and repairs out in the field.

Your tasks may include, among other things:

• Service and repair of machinery in our workshop
• Equipping and completing new machines according to specifications
• Troubleshooting, both mechanically and via computer diagnostics
• Contributing to good customer relations during customer contact
• Simple documentation and administration related to your assignments

This is a direct recruitment position, meaning a full-time employment with the client company.
Working hours: Daytime
Location: Partille

Background and Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who thrives in a practical role and enjoys working with their hands. You are solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and have an interest in technology and machinery. You appreciate a varied daily routine but also feel secure working in a structured workshop environment. You enjoy customer contact and have an easy way of building trust.

You are a team player who contributes to a good atmosphere and are eager to develop in your role over time. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• Experience in machinery service, vehicle technology, hydraulics, or similar
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Basic computer skills
• Category B driver's license (required)
• Swedish language skills (written and spoken)

Extra plus if you also have:

• Experience with excavators, wheel loaders, or similar construction machinery
• Knowledge of AC/refrigeration technology (bonus if certified)
• Experience with Takeuchi or Wille machines
• Welding skills
• Experience working independently in the field
