Workshop Technician – Sheet Metal

We are currently looking for experienced workshop technicians within sheet metal, industry, and production. Our client specializes in sheet metal and metalwork, particularly suspended ceilings and facades, with a strong focus on design, functionality, and custom solutions.

This is a varied and practical role where you will work with shearing, bending, and assembly in close collaboration with colleagues. The workplace is located in Tyresö.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and operate CNC machines
• Sheet metal bending
• Assembly using various techniques such as riveting, screwing, and pop riveting
• Handling hand tools and measuring instruments
• Palletizing for national and international transport
• Work according to production drawings and work orders in our business system, Monitor ERP
• Collaborate with colleagues in production to ensure high quality and delivery precision

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Industrial experience and background in similar roles
• Basic ability to read drawings and understand measurements
• Forklift license (required)
• Swedish language skills (written and spoken)
• Experience with hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly techniques
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Meritorious:

• Welding skills
• Experience working from production drawings
• Familiarity with using Monitor ERP or similar business systems
