Aura Train & Rail is a new and niche business area within Aura Personal, created to meet the growing need for the right skills in the train and railway industry – here and now, and over time. We are currently looking for Track Welders based in Stockholm!

As a track welder, you work in a team with maintenance and new construction of rails. The work is varied and carried out in track environments, where safety, precision, and teamwork are crucial. You are also involved in identifying, handling, and early remediation of deviations within your area of responsibility.

Common tasks include:

• Butt welding and overlay welding
• Cutting and grinding
• Stick brazing and gas brazing

Working hours will vary. Since travel, on-call duties at home, as well as weekend and night work are involved, it is important that you live in the local area to minimize commuting to and from the workplaces.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved upper secondary education
• Approved basic training in track welding (thermit and overlay welding)
• Experience in track welding within the railway sector
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
• Meets medical requirements to be approved for security service

Merits:

• Further education in track welding
• Category C driver's license

As the position involves work in security-classified areas, a security clearance check is always conducted before an employment offer is made.
