About the Job

Meliva is planning to open a new primary healthcare centre in Ytterby, along Marstrandsvägen. We will operate in completely newly built premises close to public transport. Our goal is to offer safe and accessible care where we collaborate across all competencies. We are now looking for you who want to be part of our team from the start and drive our operations forward.

About the Position

The Region is currently processing our application to start a selected primary healthcare and rehabilitation service. Meliva Primary Healthcare Centre, Child Health Centre (BVC), and rehabilitation services plan to launch operations on November 1, 2026. We are now looking for a Specialist in General Practice who wants to be involved from the start to help build our operations. Here, we will work together with the patient at the centre of everything.

Our goal is to meet patients' needs with knowledge, experience, and quality, ensuring high accessibility. We need you who enjoy working in a team but can also make independent decisions, are flexible, and solution-focused.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reception visits, both acute and planned, both in-person and digital.
  • Responsibility for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients of all ages.
  • Collaboration with other professions at the primary healthcare centre, where you have the opportunity to share your expertise and learn from others.
  • Quality improvement work.
  • Mentoring future colleagues undertaking their General Practice Training (AT) and Specialist Training (ST).

  • Is a Specialist in General Practice, with a holistic perspective on patient needs and the mission of primary care.
  • Has experience from primary care and is confident in your professional role.
  • Thrives in teamwork but also has the ability to work independently with high medical quality.
  • Has good communication skills, is empathetic, and treats patients professionally.
  • Wants to participate in operational development.
