Job Responsibilities

Customer service, needs analysis, union counseling, and care sales in the dispensary and self-care department. Pharmaceutical services (inhalation guidance, medication initiation, and vaccination) actively contribute to achieving the pharmacy's common goals. Tasks and areas of responsibility are adapted to the individual's competence and wishes, as far as possible.

Qualifications

Norwegian license as a pharmacist or dispensing chemist.
Good knowledge of Swedish or Norwegian is crucial for safe customer handling.

A valid extract from the criminal record registry and ID must be presented upon employment.

About the Pharmacy

Apotek 1 Mo Handelspark opened in 2016, with bright and pleasant premises. The self-care department is large and inviting, and there is plenty of space in the dispensary and back-office. We have 3 dispensaries and 2 cash registers. The pharmacy focuses heavily on good customer interactions in both self-care and the dispensary. Medication initiation and inhalation guidance are a natural part of our daily work, and we started vaccinating in the autumn of 2020. We also have some private multidose customers.

We have fun together at work and support each other to create valuable customer interactions. We have many customers and are perfectly located in the Coop building together with OBS and a nice café. The same building also houses physiotherapy, Bohus, and XXL.

About Mo i Rana

Mo i Rana is located in Rana Municipality and is the third-largest city in Northern Norway with over 26,000 inhabitants. Mo i Rana is the population center of Helgeland and the urban core for an area the size of Østfold, Vestfold, and Akershus.

The staff currently consists of 3 pharmacists, including the pharmacy manager, and 4 pharmacy technicians.

Weekdays: 09:00-19:00
Saturdays: 10:00-16:00

It is a short distance to both the train station and the airport, and you can travel throughout the region by car, bus, and boat.
