The department includes four standard checkouts as well as self-scanning and gaming.

You will be part of an engaged team of approximately 30 employees who work efficiently together to offer our customers service beyond expectations, find quick solutions, and contribute to the store's positive development. You will work at the checkout, self-scanning, and gaming counter.

In your role as Checkout Supervisor, you will lead the operations of the department, which includes leading the work group, ensuring the highest level of customer service, and shift planning. Other areas of responsibility and tasks include checkout reporting, handling credit customers, etc. Your overall responsibility also involves ensuring that the department's routines and goals are followed and further developed. You play a key role in the company, and we see you as a natural leader. In this role, you will also collaborate with other departments and take overall responsibility. You will have close dialogue with your direct manager; Sales Manager Checkout & Exit. As a person in charge, you are expected to be a role model for other employees and work for the benefit of the store, using our values, routines, and policies as a starting point.

An important part of the job is to be careful with legal age control (18 years) when selling tobacco, beer/cider, over-the-counter medicine, games, and lottery tickets. ICA Kvantum Värtan is a quality-certified store according to the industry standard "Swedish Standard for Food Handling in Stores," which means constantly working according to the regulations in place to guarantee customers safe food.

We are looking for someone who has...

• experience as a leader in checkout
• a high school diploma
• ability to read and speak Swedish

Experience that is meritorious:

• previous checkout supervisor role in an ICA store
• experience with Svenska Spel and ATG
• experience with shift planning
• education in leadership

Start date: Immediately or as agreed

Scope: 80–100%

Working hours: Varied, including both evening and morning shifts. You will work every other weekend and have a weekday off.

Salary: According to collective agreement and responsibility supplement
