RESPONSIBILITIES

Municipal Primary Care Rehab Team 4 is organized within the Social Care Administration but works with target groups within the Social Services Administration's area of operation. One focus of the team is on activities within the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and another focus is on activities within social psychiatry. We are now looking for an occupational therapist with a focus on LSS.

The target group for this position is individuals with disabilities who have decisions under the LSS. Initially, you will replace an employee who is on leave for 1 year, and the focus and placement may subsequently change based on the needs within Municipal Primary Care. In the team, you will work alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, assistant nurses, rehab assistants, and nurses with a focus on LSS as well as social psychiatry. In your work, you will also collaborate with staff groups, unit managers, relatives/guardians, the region's habilitation services, and assistance coordinators.

As an occupational therapist, you work together with the individual to enable participation in daily life activities. You conduct assessments, work with cognitive support, and train in everyday activities. You engage in both preventive and compensatory measures, prescribe assistive devices, and certify the need for housing adaptations. The role also includes providing guidance and instruction to the individual, their relatives/guardians, and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.

You are stable, secure, and confident in your professional role. You will work both independently and in a team, which requires good initiative-taking skills while also being a team player. You value teamwork highly and are genuinely interested in working with a focus on the individual needs of the target group. As an occupational therapist, you appreciate a flexible work style, varied tasks, and a dynamic pace.

Personal suitability is given great weight. A driver's license is required.
