We are now looking for you with a Category C driver's license for our assignment in Ödeshög. Here you will have an independent and responsible job where you play an important role in the municipality's waste management and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Your daily life as a driver

As a driver at REMONDIS, you are responsible for collecting food waste, residual waste, and packaging from households in Ödeshög Municipality. You will become part of a small local operation where you and one other driver are jointly responsible for the collection in the municipality. There is no traditional office or facility here, which means the role suits you if you thrive with independent work and freedom under responsibility. In 2026, the municipality switched to four-compartment collection, meaning you will drive a four-compartment vehicle and be an important part of the development towards more efficient and sustainable waste management.

The role is varied and combines driving with customer contact, reporting, and responsibility for the daily maintenance of the vehicle.

In the role, you will:

• Collect waste using a four-compartment vehicle according to planned routes.
• Handle the vehicle computer and report deviations in daily work.
• Perform daily checks of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Be responsible for vehicle care, including washing, cleaning, and cabinet maintenance.
• Have daily contact with subscribers and represent REMONDIS in a professional manner.
• Contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality waste collection in the municipality.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and takes great responsibility for both their work and their vehicle. You are service-oriented, solution-focused, and have a good attitude in contact with customers and subscribers.

To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, meticulous, and able to prioritize when the pace is high. You have a strong safety mindset, are confident in making your own decisions, and understand the importance of delivering good service every day. Furthermore, you are flexible, responsible, and contribute to a positive work environment through a professional and non-hierarchical approach.

We are looking for you who have:

• Category C driver's license.
• Valid YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience in waste collection or similar transport operations.
• Experience working with vehicle computers and digital reporting.

What we offer and practical details

• Location: Ödeshög.
• Scope: Part-time.
• Working hours: Mainly weekdays 06:00-15:00, 2-3 days a week. Work on public holidays may occur as agreed with the client.
