On behalf of our client, Miljonbemanning is now looking for engaged and service-oriented bus drivers for permanent full-time positions. The client is a well-established player in public transport and works daily to create safe, sustainable, and functional journeys for a large number of passengers.
As a bus driver, you will become an important part of daily public transport and play a central role in the interaction with passengers. You are the client's face to the public, contributing to a positive travel experience through your attitude, driving, and sense of responsibility.
Job DescriptionAs a bus driver, you are responsible for driving buses on scheduled routes according to timetables and current procedures. You are responsible for the safety and comfort of passengers, as well as ensuring that traffic is conducted in a safe, professional, and service-oriented manner.
The role includes among other things:
operating buses in public transport in a safe and responsible manner
providing good service and information to passengers
handling traffic disruptions and deviations in a calm and professional manner
collaborating with traffic control and colleagues
inspecting the vehicle and reporting any faults, damages, or deviations
contributing to a safe, inclusive, and well-functioning work environment
The job suits you if you thrive with responsibility, people, and varying workdays. You need to be able to work independently, make sound decisions in traffic, and be responsive to both passengers and colleagues.
We are looking for someone whoholds a valid driver's license with category D
holds a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB)
can communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
is secure, responsible, and service-oriented
has good ability to handle stress and solve problems on the go
is punctual, flexible, and has good teamwork skills
is comfortable using digital systems and mobile-based tools at work
Previous experience with bus driving, scheduled routes, dial-a-ride, service traffic, or other professional passenger transport is advantageous. It is also advantageous if you have good local knowledge of the Nacka and Stockholm area and speak multiple languages.
Other InformationThis is a staffing assignment.
The position is a permanent employment, either part-time or full-time, located in Nacka and Värmdö. Working hours are scheduled and may vary based on traffic needs, which means work may occur early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
