Mover / Driver / Team Leader at A-J Express-Service – Join Our Journey!

We are currently looking for three experienced moving truck drivers (Category B license). However, if you hold a Category C license and YKB (professional competence certificate), it is a strong advantage for our operations in the Greater Stockholm area, based out of our office in Sollentuna. The positions are approximately 50–75% and offer great potential for further development within the company for the right candidate.

A-J Express-Service is an established moving company that has helped private individuals and businesses in Stockholm and Uppsala for over 26 years. Since our inception, we have built a strong reputation through quality, service, and professional pride. We work with our own vehicles and staff, handling everything from household and office moves to piano transports, heavy haulage, estate management, storage, and all other moving-related services.

We are in an exciting phase of development and are now looking for more dedicated employees who want to grow with us.

Responsibilities

As a driver or express worker at A-J Express-Service, you play a vital role in daily operations. You work together with the rest of the moving team and are responsible for, among other things:

• Driving the moving truck (Category B license) to and from customer locations.
• Loading and securing furniture and goods.
• On-site customer contact.
• Maintaining the vehicle in good condition.
• Checking safety, refueling, and orderliness in the vehicle.
• Ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

For those who wish to advance, there is also an opportunity to step up to a Team Leader role. In this position, you work closely with the office and management, responsible for daily operations on assignments, customer dialogues, as well as the introduction and training of new employees.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a valid Category B driver's license.
• Has experience from the moving industry or similar work.
• Is responsible and detail-oriented.
• Can handle physical work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish.
• Has a good sense of service and a pleasant demeanor.
• Is solution-oriented and works well in a team.

Local knowledge of Greater Stockholm and previous experience in leadership within moving or transport are considered merits. Perhaps you currently work as a driver and mover, enjoy the industry, and are good at what you do – but feel it is time for new challenges and the opportunity to grow?
