Meliva Rehab Ytterby

Meliva Rehab is planning to open a new clinic in Ytterby along Marstrandsvägen. At the same time, Meliva VC (Primary Care) will start operations in the same building. The activities will take place in completely new premises close to public transport. Our goal is to offer safe and accessible care where we collaborate across all competencies and unit boundaries. About the position

The Region is currently processing our application to start a healthcare selection (vårdval) within rehabilitation. Meliva Rehab, together with the Primary Care Centre and Child Health Centre (BVC), plans to launch operations on November 1, 2026.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who wants to help build our operations from the ground up.

As an Occupational Therapist at Meliva Rehab Ytterby, you work with rehabilitation at the primary care level in accordance with the requirements specified in the Health and Medical Services Act, as well as within the Requirements and Quality Book for Healthcare Selection Rehabilitation. Our aim is to guide and create security for patients of all ages through genuine personal interaction.

We view it very positively if you have an interest in the digitalization of healthcare and new working methods.

Your tasks as an Occupational Therapist include assessing and treating patients in areas such as hand function, pain, mental health, and cognitive impact. The role also involves prescribing assistive devices and issuing certificates for housing adaptations. You meet patients at the clinic, through home visits, or via digital meetings. Patient treatment takes place both individually and in groups.

The work involves collaboration with other professions within and outside the unit to provide assessment and treatment based on the patient's individual rehabilitation plan and needs. We value the patient's participation and influence over their care to facilitate preventive health work and support self-care.

Together with colleagues and management, you are responsible for the development of the operations and continuous improvement work, with great opportunities to influence your daily work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed Occupational Therapist. Previous experience in primary care is meritorious.

Basic competence in insurance medicine as required by VGR, as well as competence to prescribe assistive devices.

Supervisory training is meritorious.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability, where flexibility is key.

Scope: 70%
