Academic Resource is currently looking for a Medical Writer with good knowledge of clinical trials for a consultancy assignment with a client in Uppsala.

The assignment is full-time and initially runs for approximately 4-6 months, with immediate start.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and quality control various types of scientific documents (primarily study protocols and study reports).
• Coordinate the document development process.
• Plan and coordinate review and quality control during document development.
• Perform quality control of documents produced by a colleague.
• Plan and lead meetings to handle comments (internal/external) during document development.
• Monitor the writing process, schedules, and milestones throughout the assignment.
• Act as the primary contact person between the client and other parties contributing content and expertise to the assignment.
• Provide status updates to the client and relevant parties, both internally and externally, during the writing process.

Qualifications:

• Experience in writing study protocols and/or study reports in accordance with ICH E6/E3.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., Master's or PhD in Life Science).
• Experience working within the Life Science industry.
• Good knowledge of clinical trials.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) E6 and ICH E3.
• Good proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
