Do you want to contribute to safety, attendance, and learning for our students? At Floraskolan, we are looking for a pedagogical assistant for a varied role with a focus on relationship-building, recess activities, and pedagogical support.

Together with colleagues, students, and guardians, you work to create a safe and inclusive school environment where students have the opportunity to develop and succeed.

The position is a fixed-term employment for the period 2026-08-12 to 2026-12-31.

YOUR ROLE

As a pedagogical assistant at Floraskolan, you work to create a safe, inclusive, and meaningful school day for our students. The assignment focuses particularly on the students' breaks during the school day, recess activities, and relationship-building work. You are responsible for our playground for grades 7-9 and contribute to developing the activities based on the students' needs.

You work supportively on attendance together with the school's attendance support staff and support students during different parts of the school day. The assignment also includes receiving and supporting students from Bergsbyskolan on the days they have classes with us, as well as collaborating with guardians when necessary.

As part of the school's pedagogical activities, you should be prepared to teach and support instruction where needs arise, primarily in our special education group and in our study hall. Together with colleagues, you contribute to the students' safety, study peace, and learning.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for you who have a pedagogical post-secondary education, for example as a support teacher, teacher's assistant, or other education deemed relevant for the assignment. You have good digital competence, communicate well in Swedish both orally and in writing, and feel confident using digital tools in your work.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with children and young people, especially students with neuropsychiatric functional variations, learning difficulties, or social challenges.

As a person, you are secure, flexible, and relationship-building. You have a genuine interest in the development of children and young people and build trusting relationships that create conditions for both attendance and learning. You collaborate well with others, keep your cool in challenging situations, and feel confident supporting and conducting teaching when needed.

Floraskolan is located on Morön with proximity to both nature and sports areas. The school area also includes Florahallen with both track and field and indoor sports facilities.
