About the Department

Laboratory Medicine Västernorrland is a county-wide unit for laboratory operations within Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, and Transfusion Medicine. Approximately 115 people work within the operations in Sundsvall.

We are now looking for two nurses for Transfusion Medicine in Sundsvall. The positions are permanent, full-time, with a start date to be agreed upon.

Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will work with:

• Approving new blood donors for donation
• Performing blood donations
• Screening blood donors
• Producing blood products
• Patient treatments
• Participating in improvement and development work

The work may involve irregular working hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has Swedish language skills in speaking and writing at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in phlebotomy/blood sampling
