About the Assignment

• Start: Immediately

• Employment Type: Fixed-term – Full-time

• Location: Gothenburg, Torslanda

• Available Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, 2-shift system

About You

Formal Competence

• Minimum grade Pass (or minimum E) in the following upper secondary school subjects: Mathematics a/1, Social Studies a/1. Swedish a/1 or Swedish as a second language a/1 & English a/5.

• Category B Driver's License

It is important that your application includes all documents (see the two points above) so that we can make a fair assessment.

Merits

• Previous experience with forklift operation

• Experience with loading/unloading from trucks

• Forklift license with authorizations A1-4, B1-4, D1 and completed according to TLP10 or issued via TYA. The license must be no older than 5 years.

Furthermore, you need to have a strong focus on safety and quality, while being structured in your work. You need to be meticulous and expected to understand and follow instructions.

About the Role

As warehouse staff at Volvo Cars, you will deliver materials to departments and be part of the important logistics work needed to keep everything running smoothly inside the factory. We are now offering a unique opportunity to develop within the industry.

Tasks may include, for example:

• Handling of inbound deliveries

• Unloading

• Material handling

• Forklift operation; where materials are to be moved, handled, and finally delivered to production.

You will work both in teams and independently for a large part of the work. The work pace is high, and you are responsible for completing your tasks within the given timeframe.
