Do you want a job where you see that what you do matters? Trollhättan Municipality is looking for a driver for our service team. The assignment primarily involves delivering meals to schools, preschools, and special needs housing (SÄBO).

Responsibilities

As a driver, you deliver food from our production kitchens to various operations within Trollhättan Municipality. You are responsible for ensuring that the food is transported safely and hygienically, from loading to delivery.

You ensure that deliveries arrive on time and greet recipients in a friendly and professional manner. You perform daily vehicle checks and report if any repairs are needed.

If needed, you also assist with simpler tasks within meal services or facility maintenance. You work together with others in a service team where colleagues support each other in daily work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a Category B driver's license and can communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. The work is physical, so you need to be comfortable with lifting and moving around a lot during the day. You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You are flexible and can adapt when plans change. You collaborate well with others and treat both colleagues and the facilities you visit with respect. When things do not go as planned, you remain calm and find solutions.

Merits

• Experience in food transport, courier services, distribution, or similar.
• Experience working in large kitchens/meal services.
• Knowledge of food hygiene (HACCP).
• Familiarity with digital driving logs, handheld computers, or planning systems.
