About the role
As a Group Manager, your primary task is to coach and work in the daily care work together with the team. This means you are a role model for your employees and, through your strong engagement, you create a good working climate in the group every day. You work during the day and on weekends.
Close leadership: The role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and quality-assuring the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in their daily work. You have several Group Manager colleagues, and you collaborate, bounce ideas off each other, and exchange experiences.
Involvement: As a Group Manager, you report to the Operations Manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.
About Polhemsgården
Polhemsgården in Solna consists of 80 apartments with a dementia focus, as well as the day activity center Lyktan. Polhemsgården has nature and garden as its profile. Outdoor activities and activities in nature, parks, and gardens are natural parts of our daily life. We work based on different nature themes throughout the year. Vardaga operates the facility on behalf of Solna Municipality.- Silviahem Certification: We are a Silviahem-certified residence, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia and interaction via Silviahemmet.
- Youth Care (Ung Omsorg): We have a collaboration with the company Youth Care. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Youth Care does various activities together with us who work here, to add a golden touch to the lives of the residents.
Activity Coordinator: We work systematically with activities and have an activity coordinator who develops and carries out meaningful activities with our residents.
Your experience and knowledge
You are a trained nurse assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience from elderly care and leadership is meritorious for this role. We place great importance on personal suitability.
