The staffing unit belongs to the HR department and is tasked with supporting Region Gävleborg's operations with short-term staffing. As a pool-employed nurse, you will be introduced to several of our care units, including orthopedics, medicine, and cardiology. Within healthcare, we work together from a patient perspective with the goal of "Our shared responsibility for our shared patient," ensuring that everyone we meet feels safe and receives high-quality care.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, your task is to staff care units at Hudiksvall Hospital to help and support staff during absences. You will be introduced to 4–5 different care units. The nature of the work will vary as you will work broadly with several shorter assignments based on the needs of our care units. The work involves shift scheduling throughout all hours of the day and all days of the year, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

As a nurse with us, you will among other things:

• Administer medication.
• Coordinate nursing and medical interventions in close collaboration with assistant nurses and doctors.
• Perform unit-specific nursing tasks.

• Compensation for your flexibility: A salary supplement in addition to your regular salary of 5,000 SEK for you with four to six years of clinical experience as a nurse, and 7,000 SEK for you with over six years of clinical experience as a nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a great commitment and enjoy variety where no day is like the other. You have good collaboration skills, communicate well, and convey messages adapted to the recipient. You are receptive and have the ability to put yourself in others' perspectives or situations. Furthermore, we see that you can prioritize tasks, maintain focus in pressured situations, and quickly handle problems that arise. At the same time, you are self-reliant and adapt easily to changed circumstances.

As a nurse with us, you must have:

• Nursing license.
• At least four years of clinical experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have broad experience from different healthcare areas and/or experience in emergency care. If you have experience with the healthcare system Cosmic, this is also meritorious for the position.
