Nurse Wanted for Stroke and Neurorehabilitation

Are you a licensed nurse looking to work in a setting where acute stroke care is combined with rehabilitation and long-term patient follow-up?

We are currently seeking a licensed nurse for a position within stroke and neurorehabilitation during the autumn of 2026.

About the Role

You will work on a ward where both planned rehabilitation and acute neurological care are provided. The department handles varying patient flows, requiring clinical confidence, strong prioritization skills, and close teamwork.

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Care of inpatients
• Stroke monitoring
• Administration of medication
• Documentation and patient assessments
• Leadership of the care team
• Participation in acute interventions and care processes

Acute interventions such as thrombolysis and care for severely ill patients are part of the operations.

Work Environment

You will work alongside various professions in an environment where both rehabilitation and acute care are central to daily operations. Structure, adherence to routines, and patient safety are highly prioritized.

Duration & Scope

• Period: Week 36–40
• Scope: Approximately 216 hours
• Working hours according to schedule; days, evenings, nights, and weekends may be included

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has experience from inpatient care, neurology, or stroke care
• Is confident in acute situations and makes independent assessments
• Has good collaboration skills and works in a structured manner
• Thrives in a setting with both rehabilitation and acute care

Requirements for Presentation

• Adult CPR certification
• Two current references from your most recent assignment or employment
