We at Bilprovningen are now looking for more employees for our stations on Gotland!

Vehicle inspection is our core business. As an inspection technician, you inspect vehicles and check that they meet the set safety requirements. The inspection is carried out independently or together with your colleagues at the station, and you have technical aids, computer equipment, measuring instruments, and tools at your disposal.

Our customers visit us from early morning until afternoon. During certain periods, customer traffic is particularly high or low, which requires a strong sense of service and flexibility since our goal is to help all customers. This also means that we support each other when needed, and you may be loaned to work at other stations in the same region or, in some cases, around the country. Since we strive to be accessible and adaptable to our customers, we are also open on certain holidays during the month.

Who are you?

To thrive in the role of inspection technician, we believe you are service-oriented and stimulated by meeting people. You are a responsible person driven by doing a good job and collaborating with others. In interactions with customers, you are informative, friendly, attentive, and trustworthy. We expect you to have a completed upper secondary education as a foundation. Having a Class B driver's license (manual) is a requirement; having a Class C license is highly meritorious. If you already hold inspection qualification K1, this is a clear advantage. We inspect light and heavy vehicles as well as motorcycles, and we would appreciate it if you were interested in certifying yourself within these vehicle classifications.

You need to have some vehicle knowledge. Knowing what you are working with and what different parts of the vehicle are called is important so that you can do a good job and answer customers' questions.

You must be able to meet our customers in a humble manner and be clear when giving various types of information. Since we work with safety, it is crucial that you feel confident communicating freely. Language skills other than Swedish are meritorious but not a requirement.

What do we offer you?

We offer you a good introduction and thus an individualized education. Immediately after completing the education, you take a test to become a certified inspection technician. The studies are conducted full-time north of Stockholm and are adapted to your prior knowledge. After completing the education and certification, you start working at your station. Practical Information

Start: August–September. If you are already certified, employment can begin earlier.

Working hours: Weekdays vary between 07:00–18:00 and one to two Saturdays per month 09:00–14:00.

Scope: Full-time.

Employment type: Permanent employment (6-month probationary period applies).
