About the Role
As a Security Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the business in security matters and security work, with a focus on security protection. Gotlands Elnät aims to systematically manage and protect its information assets and facilities in accordance with laws and regulations, as well as the business's risk assessments and requirements. In the role of Security Specialist, you report directly to the Head of Security Protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in security and security protection.
- Be responsible for continuous security protection work.
- Support the organization in security protection matters, e.g., security protection analyses and signing of security protection agreements.
- Provide support to the management group and line organization regarding security issues.
- Coordinate, compile, and follow up on goals and action plans within the security management system.
- Coordinate efforts in connection with security-related cases and/or incidents.
- Handle upcoming CER directives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Relevant academic education or equivalent work experience.
- Several years of experience in qualified security work, both strategic and operational.
- Good understanding of how security issues are integrated into the business and driven commercially.
- Very good knowledge of relevant security legislation and regulations, such as the GDPR and the Security Protection Act.
- Good knowledge of management systems, especially within the ISO 27000 series.
- Good competence in risk management.
- Experience in conducting security investigations.
- Basic knowledge of project management.
- Good understanding of business development.
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Personality:
We are looking for you who are communicative and relationship-building, with a natural ability to build and maintain good relationships, both internally within the organization and externally with authorities and industry actors such as Svenska Kraftnät, the Swedish Armed Forces, and the Police. You have a strong commitment to security issues and are motivated by driving them forward from a business and operational perspective. Furthermore, you are inspiring in your leadership and have the ability to engage others in security work. You work with a clear focus and take initiative, while being structured and systematic in your approach. You also have a good ability to balance the tactical, strategic, and operational perspectives based on given conditions.
