As a shunter at Dagab, your main responsibilities will be:

• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.

• Forklift operation when moving pallets and cages.

• Reversing with trucks and trailers.

The position is based at Dagab's warehouse in Hisings Backa.

OBS: This position does not include distribution or long-haul driving.

Dagab operates seven days a week during the night. The position involves working the night shift, but there may be opportunities to work other hours in the future.

You will have a rotating schedule with an average of 32 hours per week.

• 20:15 - 05:00 (Monday - Friday)

• 22:15 - 05:00 (Tuesday - Friday)

The job begins with two weeks of paid training, with one week scheduled for evenings and the other for nights.

Start date is by agreement.

• Has previous experience in shunting or as a CE truck driver.

• Thrives in physical and active work.

• Forklift license

• CE driver's license

• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• ADR 1.3 Certificate

• Forklift training, workplace introduction, safety rules, safety briefings, and other instructions are conducted in Swedish, meaning you need to have a good command of the Swedish language.

• You must be at least 18 years old to be employed in this position.

We use the Verifier tool to ensure that current candidates do not have a background incompatible with the position.

• Rear liftgate certificate

• Experience with forklift operation

• Experience working as a CE driver/similar role

• Experience reversing with trailers (CE license required).

In this role, it is important that your tasks are performed thoroughly and that you have a high level of engagement and take initiative.

Since the work can be physically demanding, it is a plus if you are in good physical shape so that you can work ergonomically correctly.
