Service Technician at Battenfeld Sweden – Work with Cutting-Edge Technology in the Plastic and Rubber Industry
Do you want to work at the forefront of technology, trading routine tasks for cutting-edge technology, travel, and professional development? Battenfeld Sweden delivers future technology to the plastic and rubber industry. With a strong focus on European quality and personal service, we help our customers optimize their entire production chain.
We are now looking for a driven and engaged Service Technician who wants to grow into a key player in our close-knit family business. Here, we value long-term commitment, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
What we offer:
- A high-tech daily routine: You will work with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of world-leading brands such as Wittmann and Maplan.
- Long-term competence development: We invest in your future. You will receive extensive internal training as well as specialist training with our suppliers in Austria to ensure you develop into the best in your field.
- Freedom with responsibility: You manage your workday independently and handle challenges for our customers. The role involves travel within Sweden as well as occasional travel in other parts of Scandinavia.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for more than just a CV; we seek a person with the right attitude who is driven by solving technical challenges.
- You have a technical education, preferably in electrical/automation, or equivalent work experience.
- You have strong practical aptitude, enjoy working with your hands, and are a skilled problem solver.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics, with a good understanding of industrial and production processes.
- Experience with machine installation or work within plastic/rubber production is considered a major plus.
- You thrive working independently and handle customer contacts professionally. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
- A valid driver's license (Category B) is required. We prefer candidates based in the Halmstad or Jönköping (Anderstorp) areas.
Battenfeld is a stable family business with long experience and a forward-looking vision. We offer security through collective agreements, a long-term challenge, training opportunities (including trips to Austria), a service/company car, and a wellness allowance. However, the best part is the close-knit team that enjoys working together.
Does this sound like your next career opportunity? Apply now! Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, so don't wait to submit your application. In this recruitment process, we collaborate with Pauder & People. All applications should be directed to them. For questions about the position, contact Nina Kapsimalis at [email protected].
