In the autumn of 2021, we opened a newly built campus in Upplands-Bro Municipality. JENSEN Primary School Bro Mälarstrand continues to expand. The school is located in a beautiful forest setting with space for approximately 590 students from preschool class to grade nine.

We are looking for you who want to develop and contribute to our students' success in all aspects of life. In your role as a school nurse at JENSEN Education, you will have the opportunity to take overall responsibility for the school's medical and psychosocial student health services together with engaged and competent colleagues and present management.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• The primary school offers three longer health visits in preschool class, grade 4, and grade 8, as well as two shorter health visits in grade 2 and grade 6. As a school nurse, you will conduct these and be responsible for tasks according to the statutory basic program.
• Vaccinations in grade 2, grade 5, and grade 8, as well as simple healthcare interventions during reception hours, are included in our tasks.
• The work is primarily health-promoting and preventive and is carried out at the individual, group, and organizational levels to support students' development towards educational goals.
• You are part of the school's student health team, where you contribute your expertise in medicine, health, nursing, and psychosocial knowledge in collaboration with other student health competencies. Teamwork in a student health team is crucial to us, and personal suitability is of course highly valued.

In your work, with the support of JENSEN's Central Student Health, school doctors, and our other school nurses and counselors around the country, you will be responsible for planning and organizing your work according to current guidelines for the medical component of student health services.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education focused on district nursing, children and youth, or school nursing, and preferably some education in psychosocial work. Experience working as a school nurse is an advantage.

We expect you to have a good ability for structure and planning. We assume that you are independent, flexible, proactive, enjoy working in teams, and in close collaboration with the school's staff. You have a good and empathetic approach, as well as the ability to create trust among students, guardians, and colleagues. Furthermore, you are responsible and approach your work with great commitment. You care about your own health and would like to work for a company that prioritizes health and well-being.

Employment Type

The position is a parental leave replacement on a full-time basis from September 2026 to December 2027.
