About the job
As an IAM Specialist, you are responsible for developing and maintaining our services for Identity, Access, and Permission Management. In this role, you collaborate with other specialists and architects. We deliver IAM solutions to several government agencies, and you are a valuable asset in this delivery. You belong to a team that applies an agile working method, where each person has expert knowledge in the field. Together, you are responsible for the team's deliveries while keeping an eye on the big picture and contributing to a well-functioning society. You have the freedom to organize your work within the team yourselves and work together towards a common goal. The team is cross-functional, and there is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in different areas. Our current platform is based on OpenText Identity Manager and OpenText Identity Governance. Our technical environment consists of Red Hat Linux and Windows Server. We use the directory service Microsoft Active Directory.
We are now in an exciting phase where we will also introduce a new system for Privileged Access Management (PAM) to meet new security requirements.

You belong to the IT security unit within the IT department, located in Gothenburg. On the unit, we are approximately 50 experts in IT security, and we are in an expansive development phase.
About you
To do a good job and thrive with us at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be receptive, think new thoughts, and take responsibility. In the work, good judgment and an understanding of legal certainty and security are important. You must also adhere to our employee policy.
In this job, you should:
- have good collaboration skills, be helpful, and have a good attitude towards others
- be able to drive development activities from start to finish according to established processes and criteria
- have good problem-solving skills, see patterns, and be able to make boundaries
- understand the importance of, and be able to create relationships with other teams to achieve the set goals
- have the ability and willingness to learn new things and be able to adapt to changes
- have good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish.
You must also have:
- relevant post-secondary education in IT, or alternatively, several years of current and relevant work experience in the field
- at least five years of current and relevant work experience in the development and maintenance of solutions for Identity, Access, and Permission Management (IAM)
It is desirable that you have current and relevant experience in the development and maintenance of systems for privileged permissions (PAM). It is also an advantage if you have experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, and/or working with REST APIs.
Good to know
The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.
An employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security check with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment is made. For some of our tasks in the security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
