Would you like the opportunity to work with a wonderful team where we jointly strive to create a good quality of life for the people we work for and with? Do you also believe in a society where everyone has a clear place?
If you answered yes to the questions above – then our workplace might be right for you!
Stora Sköndal's Neurological Rehabilitation Clinic has been in existence for over 40 years and consists of an inpatient ward, day rehabilitation, physiotherapy clinic, and speech therapy clinic.
The inpatient ward has space for 28 patients aged 18 and older who are referred to us from the region's acute hospitals or via primary care/specialist clinics for planned rehabilitation. Our largest diagnostic group is stroke, followed by Parkinson's disease and post-operative brain tumor surgery, but we also treat patients with many other neurological conditions and diseases.
We are now looking for a nurse for our neurological rehabilitation ward with night shifts. You will work 73% on a rolling 3-week schedule, 1 weekend out of 3. The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period included.
We are looking for you who are a trained nurse and have at least 1 year of professional experience. Experience in acute neurology and/or neurological rehabilitation is a requirement.
You need to be a good communicator and a team player with leadership skills who can independently prioritize in your work.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language and experience with documentation are required. It is an advantage if you have worked with the medical record system Take Care.
We see every employee as a carrier of our approach that every patient, next of kin, and employee should be heard, seen, respected, and involved. An attitude that is combined with responsibility and high competence. Of course, you share our core values: Care – Equality – Change.
We need to ensure that you, as a job applicant, have the right to work in Sweden. If you proceed in the process, we will request documents proving your right to work in Sweden.
An extract from the criminal record must be presented before employment. We prefer that this is shown digitally, for example via Kivra.

We are a non-profit organization within support, care, nursing, education, and research. The fact that we do not distribute profits allows us to invest all resources in performing our mission as well as possible. Since 1905, operations within the Stora Sköndal Foundation have developed, changed, and improved. Some operations remain, others are completely new. But one thing does not change: We still work based on the belief in the equal value of all human beings.
Every day we want to make life better for all the people we meet in our operations. Today we are approximately 1,100 employees, both monthly and hourly paid, who together work towards our vision – a society with a clear place for everyone. Our culture is permeated by our values – equality, care, and change.
