Job Description & Offer

Swedish Lorry Parts is a Swedish company specializing in spare parts for Volvo construction equipment, Volvo/Scania trucks & buses, as well as Volvo Penta/Scania marine & industrial applications.

We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager responsible for sales and customer development in the Nordic region and the Baltic states.

The role involves overall responsibility for developing the business primarily through distributors, retailers, and engine rebuilders, where you build long-term relationships and drive growth. You will work with both large and small companies, requiring a hands-on and solution-oriented approach.

You will work with a diverse customer base, ranging from large distributors across the Nordics and Baltics to smaller family-owned businesses in Sweden, which demands both business acumen and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales and customer development in the Nordic region (primarily Sweden) and the Baltic states
  • Develop and strengthen collaborations with distributors and retailers
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities
  • Process and develop relationships with selected end customers in Sweden
  • Conduct customer meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions
  • Monitor sales targets and analyze market development
  • Participate in industry exhibitions and represent the company externally
  • Collaborate with internal functions such as marketing, product, and logistics

Profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience in technical B2B sales, preferably within vehicles, industry, or a related field.

You have worked with distributors and/or retailers and have a good understanding of multi-tier business models. At the same time, you are comfortable working directly with end customers when needed and see the value in developing these relationships as well.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has documented experience in B2B sales within a technical field
  • Has experience working with retailers and/or distributors
  • Is business-driven and has the ability to create long-term customer relationships
  • Is structured, self-initiative, and results-oriented
  • Has good communication skills and is confident in negotiation situations
  • Has very good command of English, both spoken and written

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required, and the position includes a company car.

Other Information

  • Start: Immediately, according to agreement
  • Scope: Full-time and permanent
  • Location: Slagsta Business Center, south of E4

You will travel for work, with 5-10 hotel nights per month.
