The Södermalm District Administration is part of the City of Stockholm and works to create a safe, sustainable, and well-functioning everyday life for our residents. We are now looking for engaged janitorial staff who want to be involved from the start and contribute to service and high quality in our operational premises on Södermalm.

Your role
As a janitor with us, you work with daily cleaning in our premises within the Södermalm district. Working hours are scheduled during the day. You will be an important part of creating clean and pleasant environments that contribute to a safe and well-functioning operation.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Daily cleaning according to current cleaning routines.
- Ordering and receiving cleaning materials.
- Quality control and self-checks.
- Ensuring that cleaning is carried out according to current instructions for chemicals, ergonomics, and the environment.
- Actively participate in the development of the cleaning operation.
Your skills and experience
- You have at least 1–2 years of experience in janitorial work.
- You have training in janitorial work or experience that the employer considers equivalent.
- Good physical fitness is important, as the work is mobile and sometimes physically demanding.
- You speak and write Swedish fluently.
- You are flexible, service-oriented, meticulous, and responsible.
- You enjoy working both independently and collaborating with colleagues.
- You have good knowledge of ergonomics and cleaning techniques.
- You are experienced in using cleaning machines.
- You are a proficient user of smartphones and various IT systems.
Merits
SRY BAS, PRYL certificate, or equivalent training. Grades in SFI/SAS basic or equivalent. Experience working with environmentally adapted cleaning and chemicals. Knowledge of quality work within janitorial services.
Other
You need to be able to show a clean extract from the Police Register of Offenses prior to possible employment, as the work takes place in educational activities.
Selection and interviews will take place on an ongoing basis.
