Carpenter / Woodworker – Projects from Gävle to Kiruna

About the Job

We are currently seeking skilled carpenters for varied construction projects in Northern Sweden. The work covers everything from residential construction to larger contracts.

Since the workplace varies depending on the specific project and can be located anywhere between Gävle and Kiruna, it is important that you are flexible and able to work in different locations for periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Frame construction and building of walls, floors, and roofs.
• Installation of doors, windows, and interior fittings.
• Formwork for concrete work.
• Reading blueprints and working independently.
• Close collaboration with other trade groups on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as a carpenter or within the construction industry is an advantage.
• Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
• Valid driver's license (Category B) is an advantage.
• Spoken Swedish.

Important Information About the Position

• The work location varies between Gävle and Kiruna depending on the project.
• You must be able to work away from home for periods of time.
• Housing is provided by the employer.
• Salary according to collective agreement (Byggnads).
