PNA Coordinator at Gävle Hospital

We at Laboratory Medicine are proud of our efforts that create the right conditions for patient care. Within our Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) operations, we have daily contact with healthcare staff throughout the entire healthcare system in Gävleborg County. The work involves close collaboration with the various units and includes, among other things, training, support, and visits out in the care facilities. Our POCT team is responsible for methods, instruments, and routines within Point-of-Care Testing in both primary care and inpatient care, as well as for the IT systems that transfer analysis results to the patient's journal.

The position is located at Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine at Gävle Hospital.

• providing support, training, and information to healthcare units
• configuring, validating, and troubleshooting analysis instruments and IT systems
• ensuring that internal control programs are carried out
• developing and quality-assuring POCT operations together with the team

Qualifications

In the role of POCT Coordinator within Laboratory Medicine, you should:

• be a nursing assistant, nurse, biomedical analyst, or have other equivalent education within healthcare
• hold a valid B-driver's license as travel within the region occurs.
