Assistant Nurse to Sjöryd – Hjo Municipality

Create safe nights for our residents.

We are now looking for two dedicated assistant nurses with protected professional titles for night shifts at Sjöryd. Do you want to help create safety and quality of life for our residents? With us, you become an important part of a competent team and get to make a real difference every day.

About the position

As a night assistant nurse with us, you are responsible for support and supervision for our residents on wards and short-term care. You offer care, support, and security. We are looking for someone who is caring, responsible, and stable – and who wants to contribute to the well-being of our residents.

The work is varied and requires the ability to build relationships, perceive changed needs, and quickly adapt interventions so that each individual receives the right support at the right time.

Your tasks

• provide care, support, and service according to the Social Services Act
• perform health and medical care tasks on delegation from a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist
• work in a person-centered way and promote rehabilitation
• document and participate in care planning
• collaborate with colleagues and other professions in the team

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are trained as an assistant nurse with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• have work experience from the healthcare profession
• have good Swedish in speech and writing
• are confident in working both independently and in a team
• are flexible, solution-oriented, and adaptable to the needs of the operations
• have made a conscious decision regarding night work and the health impacts it may entail

Meritorious: Specialist training in palliative care or geriatrics/elderly care. Note that we do not hire with a specialist title but with a vacant position within the area.

Working hours

The working hours refer to night shifts on weekends and weekdays between 22:45–07:00. Sjöryd's wards are staffed with two employees per night. Some shifts per month are so-called flexible shifts, where you cover vacancies within coordination areas in Hjo Municipality.

Employment and introduction

Upon employment, you will receive 3–5 days of introduction and training to become confident in our ways of working. You will work with delegated measures from our licensed healthcare personnel after decisions from the MAS (Manager of Nursing and Social Care).

We request that you can show ID/driver's license, certificates, and proof of protected professional title upon employment. We conduct reference checks both internally and externally and use the digital tool Refapp.
