About the Role

Do you want to help ensure a stable electricity supply on Gotland? Then you are welcome to our team!

The Logistics and Contracts department currently consists of our warehouse and transport operations. Today, we are a team of 4 employees, and we are looking for an employee who will support us with our transports and handling of shared grid equipment due to upcoming retirements. Our own warehouse and logistics operations are important to us to ensure a stable electricity supply on Gotland.

As a truck driver and logistics employee, you will have a varied role where you perform truck transports with a crane truck across Gotland, support the team in Visby with warehouse services, and handle shared grid equipment.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver goods by truck across Gotland
• Loading and unloading with forklift or crane
• Perform crane lifts of, for example, grid equipment and street lighting poles
• Handling and maintenance of shared equipment and mobile backup power
• Perform administrative warehouse services as needed

Requirements

As a truck driver and logistics employee, we see that you enjoy taking responsibility, providing service, have an interest in maintaining tools and machinery, and find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and customers. At Geab, we prioritize safety, so it is important that you have a strong safety mindset.

To succeed in the role, we require that you have:

• Upper secondary education (high school diploma)
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• CE Driver's License and Professional Driver Competence (YKB)
• Forklift License B and C
• Operator certificate for wheel loaders
• Valid crane operator certificate for loads over 18t/m
• Several years of experience as a crane truck driver

We consider the following to be meritorious:

• Valid certificates: ADR goods handling, Working on the road, ESA instructed
• Experience in caring for and maintaining machinery and technical equipment
• Mechanical processing experience, such as gas and MIG welding
• Experience with warehouse management, e.g., picking and packing, receiving, and administrative registration
• Proficiency in the Office package
• Experience working with SAP
