Do you want to work at the intersection of technology, business, and renewable energy? Orrön Energy is now looking for a Technical Asset Manager (TCM) who wants to be part of developing and managing some of Sweden's most important energy resources within wind power. Here you will find a varied role with significant personal responsibility, close collaboration with experienced colleagues, and the opportunity to grow long-term in a future-oriented industry.
About the Job
As a TCM at Orrön Energy, you will become part of a small and tight-knit asset management team that works closely with both technology and business. The role involves ensuring stable and long-term operation of the company's wind power facilities while driving projects and development initiatives related to the lifespan, performance, and commercial viability of the assets.
In the long term, you will be responsible for your own facilities and work broadly with tasks such as production monitoring, reporting, contracts, authority contacts, and project administration related to the development and management of existing parks. The role involves many contact points, both internally and externally, where you collaborate with colleagues in technology, production, and business development, as well as external suppliers and contractors.
Examples of Tasks:
- Monitor operation, production, and availability of wind power facilities
- Write monthly reports and analyze operational data
- Coordinate contractors and external suppliers
- Work with contracts, documentation, and authority contacts
- Participate in and drive technical projects related to life extension and development of existing facilities
- Contribute to work regarding future investments and new energy solutions
The role involves travel within Sweden related to the company's facilities and projects.
For those based in Visby, travel is limited, whereas the role in Scania involves more independent work and more contact points with technicians and facilities in the region.
Requirements for the Position
- A technical education or experience within energy, industry, or other technical operations
- Strong interest in technology, energy issues, and technical installations
- Driver's license B and ability to travel regularly within Sweden
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as proficiency in the Office package
Merits
- Experience from the wind power or energy industry
- Experience in project management, technical asset management, or coordination
- Experience with contractors, contracts, or procurement
- Electrical certification or other relevant technical expertise

You are also structured in your working methods and understand the importance of order and monitoring, especially in a business where many facilities have a long history and complex technical documentation. At the same time, you need to be self-reliant and confident in taking responsibility for your own areas, both in daily work and in longer projects.
