Region Skåne is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation – The Healthcare System of the Future. A key enabler for this future healthcare system is digitalization. The Department of Digitalization IT and MT provides support and services to the Skåne healthcare sector. Our mission is to introduce a modern and cohesive digital care environment while simultaneously operating and efficiently consolidating today's existing IT infrastructure. We are approximately 550 employees in the department, located at all hospital areas in Skåne with our headquarters in Lund.

The Business Area Infrastructure and Security consists of 4 units with approximately 50 employees: Datacenter, Telephony and Communication Systems, Digital Workplace, and IT Security. In these units, unit managers, service owners, platform owners, system owners, system specialists, platform specialists, architects, process leaders, and controllers work to deliver processes, daily operations, and the development of existing services as well as the implementation of new ones.

Responsibilities

As a Platform Specialist within Datacenter, you are an expert in one or more platforms. You are responsible for proactively contributing specialist competence to ensure functionality and technical integration according to the needs of various IT/MT services. You have in-depth knowledge of the platform's functionality and a good understanding of how the platform supports workflows and meets the needs of the IT/MT services in which it is included.

You work with the management and development of the platform from a functional and technical perspective, including development, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and configuration. In this role, you collaborate primarily with the platform architect, platform owner, and other platform specialists.

Qualifications

We welcome you if you have a relevant university/college degree or other relevant education combined with broad technical competence and professional experience. You express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. Naturally, you have a special interest in IT infrastructure and previous experience as a platform specialist or in a similar role. We expect you to have several years of experience working with cloud services.

Key Experience and Competencies:

• Experience designing, implementing, and managing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective Azure platforms at the enterprise level.
• Strong competence in core services.
• In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) in Azure.
• Experience with managed identities and secure handling of application identities.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking.
• Experience building operational models that work in large organizations.

Meritorious:

• Experience and/or certification in ITIL.
• Experience establishing and managing Azure Landing Zones.
• Experience with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Understanding of Cloud governance principles: separation of duties, subscription strategy, management groups.
