About the Role

The Home Care service consists of seven units: North, South, Close, East, Support Unit, Night Unit, and Resource Unit. All units, except those in rural areas, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with the home care nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

Through individually needs-assessed interventions, we strengthen the individual's ability to manage their daily life and enable them to continue living in a safe and familiar environment.

Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant/care assistant in Home Care East, you will provide services and personal care to clients in their own homes. We work based on quality and safety for the clients. The goal is client satisfaction, where their needs form the basis for the delivery of services. You also have a role as a contact person, ensuring the client's participation in their implementation plan. Documentation is an important part of your duties. In the operations, we use systems such as Pulsen Combine, TES, and DF Respons. In Home Care East, based in Dokkas, there is some mobility to the villages of Ullatti and Hakkas as well.

Qualifications

Nursing assistant education or other education assessed as equivalent. We are looking for you who finds it easy to collaborate, are positive and flexible. You understand the importance of good communication and have a respectful approach towards clients, their relatives, and your colleagues. Computers and mobile phones are used as work tools, so you should have good digital competence as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Under the National Minority Language Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative authority for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

A driver's license is required.

Working Hours/Duration

Permanent position, 100%. Working days/evenings/weekends. Probation period may apply.
